Torre Pacheco received European funds to renew its urban fabric — and architect Marta Serrano invited Arquicostura to be part of it. Three interventions with a single language: autumn leaves in full colour, embroidered on metallic mesh.
A 100m² shade structure over the main street. Two 20m² shelters that protect and beautify. And a series of lampposts in the town square, dressed in embroidery — at night the light filters through the unstitched gaps, turning each column into a lantern.
The leaves cast shadows on the ground. The shade structure draws what a tree would draw — but in orange, gold and red, all year round.
